From vision to visible impact
THE PILLARS, which came into being about three months ago, is a humanitarian organization driven by love, passion, integrity and selfless service. Our core mandate is to support the vulnerable and less privileged, complement government efforts in health, education and socio-economic development, and promote the unity, love, welfare and progress of Nigerians at home and in the diaspora.
Within a short period, we have moved from vision to visible impact. Here are our key achievements.
Maiden National Humanitarian Outreach: Independence Day Babies Celebration (1 October 2026)
As a symbolic flag-off of our humanitarian activities, THE PILLARS chose Nigeria's 66th Independence Anniversary on 1st October 2026 to celebrate new life and hope. We mobilised 16 States, including FCT, to visit State General Hospitals, Federal Medical Centres and University Teaching Hospitals in their respective States.
What we did
- Presented gift items to the first baby born on 1st October 2026 in each hospital.
- Gift items included baby clothes, blankets, diapers, baby toiletries and cash support to nursing mothers.
- Each State chapter spent between ₦50,000 and ₦221,000, depending on the number of children available in the hospital visited.
Impact: The programme brought smiles to families and created a positive public image for THE PILLARS. In some States, like Lagos, Oyo, Ekiti and FCT, our members went beyond the first baby and extended love to ALL babies born on that day, spending even more from their personal contributions.
This was our first statement: THE PILLARS has come to serve.

Strategic National Partnership: THE PILLARS and THE POWER HOUSE on Federal Government Tax Reform
Nigeria is undergoing a major tax sector reform under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. The reform led to the creation of the Joint Revenue Board from the Ministry of Finance and the transformation of FIRS into the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS). The new Tax Law was signed in 2025.
For decades, tax sensitisation and collection were exclusively for government agencies. The new law has opened the space for licensed private organizations and NGOs to take part in sensitisation, education, mobilisation, evaluation and collection of tax. THE POWER HOUSE is one of the foremost organizations licensed under this law, and was authorised by the Federal Government to recruit field officers for nationwide tax sensitisation and evaluation.
Where THE PILLARS comes in
Because of our wide national spread, credibility and large membership across all 774 LGAs, THE POWER HOUSE entered into a strategic partnership and agreement with THE PILLARS to recruit, mobilise and sensitise Nigerian youth for this national assignment. The partnership is both a service to the nation and a massive job creation window.
Achievements so far
- Over 150 members of THE PILLARS have been successfully onboarded into the Power House system with valid appointment letters.
- Hundreds more are in various stages of verification.
- This provides sustainable income for our members while contributing to national development.
THE PILLARS is not just an association, but a platform for empowerment.
Job Facilitation at ARIES College of Health Management and Technology, Ibadan
In recognition of our credibility, the management of ARIES College of Health Management and Technology, Falade Layout, Oluyole Extension, Apata, Ibadan, Oyo State, gave THE PILLARS a special slot to produce candidates for immediate employment. We published the opportunity across all our State and National platforms without any fee.
- 25 qualified members applied for the positions of Medical Laboratory Technician and Clinical Instructor.
- After screening by the College, 4 of our members were shortlisted and invited for interviews for immediate employment.
This shows that organizations now trust THE PILLARS to provide credible manpower. It aligns with our motto: We Serve, We Build, We Impact.
Upcoming Major Project: O SA NI LE (Run Away from Home), Go Back to School
This is our next landmark humanitarian service, designed to tackle the growing social menace of out-of-school and street children who ran away from home due to poverty, abuse or neglect.
Sensitisation phase: ongoing now until 8th November 2026.
Execution plan
- Our team will identify at least 6 children living on the streets, in markets and under bridges.
- We will profile them, trace their families, and provide counselling and reconciliation.
- We will re-enrol them in school, and THE PILLARS will take full responsibility for their school fees, uniforms, books and mentorship for at least one academic session.
Why it matters
Every child deserves a home, love and education. By restoring these children, we are restoring the future of Nigeria. We call on all members, partners and well-meaning Nigerians to support this initiative morally and financially.
Watch out for official launch details!
These are just the beginning. THE PILLARS is poised to do more in health, education, empowerment and humanitarian support. We appreciate all the National Executive Council, State Directors and LG Coordinators who have contributed to these achievements.
